The newspaper "The Mechanizator" has been awarded the letter of commendation of the Union of Journalists of the Chuvash Republic for active coverage of the many-sided life of workers and the issues of economic competition, as well as at the event of the 25th anniversary from the publication of its first issue.

On the pages of this small paper, the creative members of the editorial staff manage to cover all important events in the life of the Company employees. The newspaper tells about the front-rank workers, the work teams' competitions, introduction of new capacities, resource saving, achievements in sport and work management.

"The Mechanizator" has grown up together with the organization and has acquired the knowledge and professional skills. And today, when DORISS Company has become one of the leading enterprises in this branch, the newspaper ranks one of the best "house journals" in Chuvashia.

In the middle of February, the city of Naberezhnye Chelny, Tatarstan, played host to the final workmanship contest "The Masters of Russia" among the drivers of KAMAZ vehicles from Privolzhsky Federal district.

The Chuvash Republic was represented at the contest by Vladislav Nikitin, the driver of SU-4, DORISS JSC.

The KAMAZ vehicles, driven by the contest participants, had been provided directly from the factory assembly line.
As the result of a two-day intense competition with participation of about twenty drivers from Privolzhsky Federal district, Vladislav had successfully coped with his task and became one of the five finalists, giving way to only four participants, who were the hosts of the contest.
Ranking the fifth, Vladislav was awarded the Certificate of the District Contest Finalist "The Masters of Russia".

More than 400 Doriss Company employees with their families gathered for the celebration of the annual sporting holiday "Doriss-Snowman". There is a tradition to honour the winners of production and economic competition, the best builders and mechanics, who had been granted the title of "The Best in the Profession". The event participants demonstrate their force, skills and adroitness in sporting competitions.

2008 was declared by the President of Chuvashia as a Year of Good Deeds, and in the sports annals of the republic there will also be a Christmas tournament to get prizes of the general director of OJSC "Doriss" I.V.Roshchin which has taken place on January 12th, its participants being about 100 karatekas of Chuvashia at the age of 7-10 years.

Participants competed in 8 age and weight categories. Cups, letters and sports ammunition were handed over to the winners. Besides, all the participants got sweet Christmas gifts from organizers of the tournament.
